Seeking Associate Veterinarian!
We are an AAHA-certified small animal hospital located just 2 miles from the beach in sunny So Cal. We have 40 "rock star" employees including 6 veterinarians and 6 RVTs. I am the owner and remain on-site and very involved with the health and wellness of not only my patients but my team members.
We offer competitive salary + bonus, health/vision/dental, 401K with matching, vacation, professional dues, and CE. We have an elite client base as well as excellent relationships with our region's specialists. We treat clients and pets with individualized care. We practice Fear Free handling of all pets. We practice general medicine and surgery but we have special interests in soft tissue surgery, brachycephalic medicine and surgery, and dentistry. I do abdominal ultrasound. We have a Companion Class IV Therapy laser and use it many times each day.
We have 5 exam rooms, a large and luxurious team break room, and have just completed an attractive remodel. We book 30-minute appointments for established clients and 45-minute appointments for new clients, plus we book out 30-minute breaks each morning and afternoon for all doctors. 4 day work week for FT and PT can be negotiated. No after-hour emergencies, and we are always closed on Sundays and major holidays. Experience preferred but will consider a new graduate post 1 year internship.
